Were there any ads that actually convinced you to purchase a product?
There have been several memorable ads and several not so memorable, but just what the title says. Have any manufacturers actually influenced your purchasing decision with an ad? Whether it’s yes or no, I’m interested in what you have to say.

Not really an ad, but Orion used to put out periodical pamphlets that showed featured builds, and box designs for their subs. I once bought an XTR 12 simply because I wanted to try one of their "dual reflex" designs.

I never bought anything but I used to drool over the JL ads. I drank the Kool Aid for sure in the early early 2000s. JBL had me in a chokehold to with the Mark III GTi

No, not magazine advertising. Pamphlets always got me though. I would go to car stereo shops and collect them. I would take them home and drool. Alpine and Nakamichi were the brands that got me the most.

They seem to be few and far between, but I’ll try.
