There are certainly lots of good reasons for us to leave the middle east entirely but there are also reasons that make it imperative that we have a continued presence there. Our gov't knows that. That's why O'bama didn't order us out.

Let's be real here.... If Obama had "taken him out", the dems would be saying how great of a move it was. However, since it's Trump that ordered it, it's automatically a "bad" thing... That is the problem with the current political climate. The pure hatred for Trump causes sane people to think insanely. :-) It's not even up for debate whether or not this guy has done things to hurt the US and the American people - he was a major terrorist that was behind many American deaths and was reportedly in the planning stages of even more in the very near future. I don't see how it's even up for debate whether "taking him out" was a good or bad thing for the US, the American people and our allies... The world is a better place without him.
If Obama had ordered it then the republicans would have been against it.
No, they just questioned his motives and called it a political stunt which isn’t much different than what the dems are doing now.
And after it happened they still criticized Obama over it.
They had been hunting for him for years, but he kept eluding our people. When they finally got him pinned down, Obama gave the go-ahead to take him out. Where the criticism came in was when the Obama administration acted like they did something that nobody else could do. Obama just happened to be lucky enough to be in office when they found him. If Bin Laden had been killed while Bush was still in office, the media wouldn't have praised him like they did Obama...in fact, they probably would have accused Bush of murdering a poor Muslim cleric.
