I've got two Kef B139 that I wish to build a Tapped Horn or T-TQWT with.
I've got a design, attached, which I'm trying to improve on. It'll be used for movies so needs to go as low as possible. Dimensions I wish to limit to 2440cm (8ft) length (so I can just sheet sizes of MDF/PLY) and roughly 60cm x 60cm-these can be smaller but ideally no bigger-again down to sheet size. I'm going to build some floor standers to pair with it, thye should reach down to 60Hz with no trouble-so that's where the upper cut off will be.
With bassboxpro I'm a whiz, with HR I'm a muppet!
I'd like to keep the build reasonably simple and a single fold design appeals on that front.
Thanks for the replies, HR is a real PITA for me, I'm dyslexic and find it very hard to visualise each section in HR-BBpro showing me a box makes it MUCH easier
Fortunately I have had another design submitted by Bjorno, he's a star, a ML-TQWT, 4 dB up on the last design:
Will attach the HR record on next post-can't add two attachments?
I've done a search, but don't see much mention of hornresp. Most of the stuff I see is over on DIYMA in most of Patrick Bateman's threads. I also found some good stuff on HTS
