I installed radio’s and speakers when I was 15 or 16, and back then to make something sound amazing we would try different radio’s with various speakers, amps, equalizers, and speaker sizes. Paper cone Pioneer 3 way 150w was King of the Jungle, nothing was better.. Realistic Radio Shack stereo’s / Head Units with most any amp / equalizer and that would be number one, sounded amazing, extremely loud and clear. Kenwood at the time was the closest competition but as the volume raised it was clear Realistic had the edge. Acoustic equalizer was the best I ever heard in those days, If technology had stayed the same and they just added a USB port I would buy the equipment mentioned above and be extremely happy. But, now I’m old and don’t know anything so I am here to get re-educated before the car system begins.
